Some call me a leader. However, I am a coach and mentor. I have led, but now I am followed for my coaching and mentoring.

Military service and my corporate life in Germany and China formed my understanding of leadership as that of serving the people within the organization. For me, the foundation of leadership is a relationship of trust, integrity and authenticity. Prerequisites to thrive even in an adverse and unpredictable environment.

Throughout my career, I learned that a plan might only survive until you start executing. Not that I recommend not to plan, but to deal with the uncertainty and complexity. To see chances and opportunities, being audacious and daring. Qualities that become more important in an ever changing, less predictable world.

Living my passion for people and leadership, I integrated coaching to serve managers in their transition to become authentic leaders and to develop highly effective teams.

I help people think differently, act upon that and thus, creating their future. 

As a Chinese proverb says:

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” — Lao Tzu


My role is to accompany you along that journey.

Everybody can become a leader. Teams can then become highly effective. 

My mission is to hold the space to grow, lead, and transform.

PROJECTS

  • Creating a Coaching Culture for Bosch China

    In the service of developing a coaching culture as part of our leadership DNA, I teamed up with the Learning and Development department and external coaches to make coaching an essential part how we do things. I was the co-founder of the Bosch China Coach Club, Master Trainer for Coaching Practices for Leaders and Coaching Conversations; coached and mentored Talents ranging from Junior Manager to Vice Presidents.

  • Developing the next Generation of Exceptional Leaders

    Coaching students from the International MBA for a consecutive three years at the Fudan School of Management in Shanghai in association with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership.

  • Transformation of Manufacturing Department

    As head of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering for Bosch in China, I developed a strong and compelling vision with my leadership team, integrating a coaching approach to leadership. The statement, “Benchmark for people and product,” and its Chinese expression was the driver for our transformation.

  • Leaders in transition

    Associated with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership, I facilitated transformation and accelerate development for leaders who change their role and organization.

  • Leadership Teams

    Applied coaching to leadership teams for Bosch in China and Japan to enable them to function as more than the sum of its parts. Facilitated and built team dynamics while increasing performance and effectiveness.

  • Agile Transformation

    Transformation Coach for Bosch Power Tools for various purpose teams including piloting the first self-organized team. Supported the Agile Transformation Team in transforming the Business Unit.
